## Existing plans formally ended

Página|12 reported on 3 October that Nucleoeléctrica Argentina’s shareholders voted on 23 September to cancel the CANDU and Hualong projects associated with Atucha III. The newspaper said the minutes cited lack of funding and inability to proceed during the public emergency; this is the outlet’s account of records it says it accessed.

## A different proposal may be tendered

The same meeting reportedly declared 12 hectares of the reserved site of business interest and authorized the board to prepare a public tender for a privately funded reactor. That authorization describes a future process, not construction underway or operating capacity.
