Arizona Public Service says extending the 1,540 MW coal plant could reduce customer costs compared with retiring it in 2031, subject to resource planning.

Continued operation under review

APS said on October 2 that it plans to operate Four Corners beyond 2031 and will keep evaluating the decision through its integrated resource planning process.
