Brazil's oil and gas output rises in August, ANP says
Brazil produced 6.002 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in August 2026, with both oil and natural gas output up from July and a year earlier.

Oil and gas both grow
ANP reported on 1 October that oil production reached 4.615 million barrels per day, up 2.6% from July and 18.4% year on year. Natural-gas output was 220.55 million cubic metres per day, also a 2.6% monthly increase.

Pre-salt share expands
Pre-salt production totalled 4.959 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, or 82.6% of Brazil’s total. The release reports August production data; it is not a new production-capacity announcement.
