## Beluga–Healy project

The planned 223-mile connection combines up to \$150 million in federal funding with \$268 million in non-federal funds, for a total planned investment of \$418 million.

## Reliability benefits

DOE says the new route would connect Beluga and Healy and provide another path to move electricity between densely populated areas and major military installations, serving about 75% of Alaska’s population.
