Akwa Ibom and SEEPCO plan underwater-welding training for 93 youths
Akwa Ibom State and Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Company announced a sponsored 20-week underwater-welding course for 93 youths. The first group of 35 was scheduled to begin training later in October at Subweb Technical Assembly Academy in Onne. The program is intended to build local skills for offshore infrastructure maintenance; training had not yet begun when reported.
