WAM cited UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) data putting UAE outward foreign direct investment flows at US$63.353 billion in 2025 and outward FDI stock at US$402.729 billion at year-end. The stock compares with US$55.560 billion in 2010 and is distinct from the annual flow. The report describes UAE investment across six continents and sectors including energy, infrastructure, logistics, technology, industry, property, finance and healthcare. It also cites global FDI flows of US$1.6 trillion in 2025 from UNCTAD’s World Investment Report 2026. These are outward-investment figures, not UAE inbound FDI.
