Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipalities and Transport announced planned upgrades along about 13 km of E30 and 8th Street in Mussafah. The proposed 8th Street highway would have 3 lanes in each direction plus 3 additional lanes on each side for local access, with estimated capacity of 4,000 vehicles per hour.

The plan covers 4 E30 interchange upgrades, 9 junction modifications, 2 bridges between Mussafah and Mohamed Bin Zayed City, and a pedestrian bridge. These planned works aim to improve safety, congestion and connections; the source does not report completion.
