The UAE Ministry of Finance published Ministerial Decision No. 168 of 2026 on eInvoicing provider eligibility and accreditation on 9 October. It states an effective date of 1 October 2026, repeals Decision No. 64 of 2025 and amendments including Decision No. 56 of 2026, and replaces pre-approval with direct accreditation after assessment and testing.
Providers may use third-party Peppol products and outsource specified work while retaining responsibility for compliance and delivery. Providers with preliminary approval had up to 30 days from 1 October 2026 to complete accreditation, subject to the Ministry’s transition terms.
