Lamprell said it signed an agreement with International Maritime Industries (IMI) to fabricate several offshore structures, including a production platform and jackets, for an offshore EPCI project delivered by Lamprell. Fabrication will take place at IMI’s Ras Al-Khair facility in Saudi Arabia.

Lamprell described it as the first production-platform and jacket fabrication scope at that facility. The companies said the agreement supports IMI’s Saudi industrial capability and local content. Lamprell identifies its main facilities in Hamriyah and Jebel Ali in the UAE; the announcement gives no contract value, schedule or UAE fabrication scope.
