Khazna sets carbon-free electricity targets in first ESG report

Its first 2025 ESG baseline reports a 27% clean-electricity share for cooling load and targets 50% by 2030.

Khazna Data Centres published its first standalone ESG report covering calendar year 2025 as a baseline for future reporting. It aims to cover 50% of mechanical load with carbon-free electricity by 2030 and 100% by 2035. In 2025, onsite solar and certified clean-energy instruments covered 27% of electricity for mechanical cooling load. Khazna also reported recycled treated-sewage water met 19.8% of cooling-water needs in 2025 and one site, DXB8, recorded a verified 99.55% landfill-waste diversion rate over 12 months. These are company disclosures and targets, not whole-UAE data or decarbonisation achieved across all company load.
