Dubai Customs said cashless payments made up 99.3% of its payment transactions in the first half of 2026, compared with 99.4% in 2025 and 99.2% in 2024. The agency separately completed 23 million customs transactions and reported 99.6% digital-channel adoption in the first half of 2026.
Its digital-services happiness index was 98%. WAM also reported Dubai-wide figures of 90.1% for the cashless-transactions index and 100% for the government-sector digital-enablement index; those apply to emirate-wide strategies, not Dubai Customs alone.
