Dubai CommerCity plans AED 1.8 billion second-phase expansion

Dubai CommerCity said its Phase Two expansion is planned for delivery from Q1 2027 through Q4 2028, with investment exceeding AED 1.8 billion. It is expected to add more than 91,000 square metres of new office space; existing office, logistics and retail areas were nearly 96% occupied. The planned 5,600-square-metre Hive facility would contain 181 flexible units, climate-controlled fulfilment and EV charging, and has not been delivered. The operator reported parcel shipments up 152% over the past year and DCC Way transit cargo up 14% in 2025.
