Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) and Siemens signed a strategic partnership on 2 October 2026 covering municipal data and analytics, utilities and infrastructure, and intelligent mobility.
The partners plan to use data, artificial intelligence and digital technologies to support decisions, operational performance and public services. They will also explore AI-enabled stormwater and flood-prediction capabilities for severe-weather preparedness, especially in priority drainage areas; no deployed system or measured results are reported.
