AD Ports Group completed the financial closing of its acquisition of Corredor Logística e Infraestrutura (CLI) after regulatory and antitrust approvals from Brazil’s ANTAQ and CADE. The company said the acquisition had an enterprise value of AED 3.1 billion (US$835 million), calling it the largest in its history.
Through Noatum Ports, AD Ports assumed operational control of CLI, which operates CLI Sul at the Port of Santos and CLI Norte at the Port of Itaqui. The group intends to establish direct routes linking Brazil with Khalifa Port and Abu Dhabi Food Hub; those routes are not yet reported as operating.
