Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) and The Boring Company signed an agreement to explore underground transport, utility tunnels and related infrastructure solutions in the emirate. The work is to assess feasibility, delivery and operating models and exchange expertise in tunnelling, safety, digital engineering and lifecycle management. Abu Dhabi Media Office said ADPIC oversees an infrastructure portfolio exceeding US$56 billion and supported delivery of 100 capital projects in 2025. The agreement is exploratory; no tunnel route, construction contract, project budget or operating system was announced.
