Development-finance framework
Abu Dhabi Fund for Development and the World Bank Group signed an MoU on the sidelines of the 2026 IMF–World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok. The institutions will explore development initiatives and potential co-financing, alongside knowledge exchange, capacity building and project preparation. Priority areas include energy, water security, agriculture and food security, digital infrastructure and responsible AI deployment. The agreement establishes a framework; it does not announce funded projects.
