## 380 kV Collector Substation Scope

The project includes 4 step-up transformers rated at 600 MVA each stepping up voltage from 33 kV to 380 kV.

The substation features compact gas-insulated switchgear engineered to minimize maintenance requirements in sandy desert environments.

## Advanced Reactive Power Compensation

Static synchronous compensators providing 500 Mvar dynamic reactive support will be installed to maintain grid voltage within Saudi Grid Code limits.

Centralized digital plant controllers coordinate inverter dispatch with transmission requirements to deliver smooth power injection.
