Two conferences share an Abu Dhabi programme
WAM reported on 5 October that Khalifa University and the Technology Innovation Institute co-hosted the 18th International Green Energy Conference and the 7th International Conference on Energy and AI. The meetings are taking place from 4 to 8 October 2026 at W Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, with more than 140 research papers accepted for presentation.
Research topics include storage and system control
The programme covers renewable and clean-energy technologies, hydrogen and fuel cells, energy conversion and storage, green power, cogeneration and distributed generation. It also examines how AI can design, control and optimize energy and chemical systems. The report describes a research forum and accepted papers, not newly commissioned power capacity.
