## Biography and career

John Bianchini is Hatch’s chair and CEO, having led the company as chief executive since 2012. He joined Hatch in 1985 after studying chemical engineering at the University of Toronto. His career developed through extractive metallurgy and leadership of international mining and metals operations. He subsequently led the wider engineering and project delivery organization serving metals, energy and infrastructure clients.
